Job vacancy with us: OISC - accredited Immigration Adviser.

We are looking for an experienced Immigration Adviser with the current (and valid) OISC accreditation. Level 1 would be sufficient but a higher level is welcome. Having a valid accreditation is compulsory (or recent one if you left your previous employment 2-3 months ago, so it can be transferred). We have a small team, so it is important to be well-organised and capable to work without supervision. Good written and spoken English is compulsory but English does not have to be your native language. Good customer service and computer skills (Excel, Outlook) are also needed. Main categories we deal with: spouse/partner visas and related issues, Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) and Tier 2, ILR, EEA law, British Citizenship. We are looking for an adviser with a proven casework experience and will be testing the knowledge of the Immigration Rules (particularly ability to find the answers on the Rules, such as who can switch to a visa, how to qualify for ILR etc). ...

New successful case and testimonial on a UK Spouse visa extension for a Thai spouse of a UK citizen.

“ I would like to thank you for your excellent work and professionalism when working on my wife’s UK visa extension. Lucy in particular responded very quickly to my questions during the process of which I had many.  I would not hesitate to recommend 1 st 4Immigration in the future.” This came from Ian, a British citizen whose wife was from Thailand. In this case our client already had a partner visa for 2.5 years (30 months) and it was time to extend it for further 2.5 years. We made an application on same-day service in Croydon and all went well on the day. The next step will be to apply for permanent residency after 5 years and after that for British Citizenship. For an individual advice or to make your application as successful please contact us: info@1st4immigration.com or visit    http://www.1st4immigration.com/spouse-partner-visas-after-9-july-2012.php     To read about our OISC-accredited advisers please visit   http://www.1st4...

New successful case and testimonial on Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR, permanent residency visa) for a Trinidadian spouse of a UK citizen.

“ After a previous bad experience with the Home Office, I sought the assistance of 1 st 4Immigration when I needed to do my IDLR (Indefinite Leave) application, from the initial meeting with Lucy I was reassured that my application should be successful and I am happy to say she was correct. On the day of my appointment Joanne accompanied my wife and I, she provided us with much needed reassurance and guidance throughout the experience. I would highly recommend the professional team at 1 st 4Immigration and would definitely be using their service in the future." This came from Richard, a Trinidadian national whose wife was a British citizen. Since the 1 st spouse visa was issued before 9 July 2012, Richard was able to secure ILR under the “old Rules”, ie under the Rules which were in place before 9 July 2012. Namely, there was no Financial Requirement (£18,600). We made an application on same-day service in Croydon and all went well on the day. The next step will be...

New successful case and testimonial for an EEA Residence Card for a Mexican partner of an Irish citizen.

“1st 4Immigration was incredibly helpful during my visa application process and made what could have been a nightmarish tale into a smooth journey. Thank you for all the hard work and the great advice that came along with it. I highly recommend 1st 4 Immigration.” This came from Hector, a Mexican citizen who applied for an EEA Residence Card through us on the basis of his civil partner being Irish and exercising treaty rights in the UK as a worker. Hector has secured a 5-year ‘visa’ which allows to work, be self-employed etc. Strictly speaking, it does not ‘allow’ work but confirms the right to work, which Hector has with or without this visa! The way European law works, for direct family members the rights to reside and to work in the UK derive automatically from the law, not from a ‘visa stamp’. This Residence Card is voluntary! If it is voluntary, was it worth applying for it? Absolutely! It is a ‘visa stamp’ (biometric visa card) for 5 years. It is well-known to e...

Bespoke Russian Visa service and Visa support (invitations).

Multi Travel Visas offers bespoke Russian visa service. It is very fast and convenient and a visa applicant can submit an application - and biometrics - at our office in the City of London (Monument area). This service allows us to act as a visa centre and collect the biometrics (fingerprints) at our office in the City of London, which is easily accessible by all transport links. Under this procedure we prepare an application form, check the documents, order a visa invitation if needed. Then, rather than going to the visa centre and queuing there for hours, we will provide a biometric kit at our office. Conveniently, you would have a 1 – 1.5 hour window to come to our office (the day/time pre-arranged as convenient). Right here, on the spot, and without queuing, you will be able to provide the biometrics (fingerprints), we will ‘submit’ your documents and pay the application fees to the official staff operating the biometric kit (here at our office). If there are any issues with...

New successful case and testimonial for a UK Spouse visa, entry clearance from India, for a husband of a British citizen.

“ Dear Joanne, today we picked up the package from the courier center in Bangalore and – good news!! Somesh got his visa! Whoopee! Thank you so very much for all your help – we could never have done it without you!” This came from Jasmine, a British citizen who asked us for help to secure a Spouse visa for her husband, Somesh, in India. In this case we used Jasmine’s income from self-employment in the UK.   Since Jasmine was a sole trader (self-employed without a company), we had to calculate her income based on the latest available tax year. A tax year had to be a UK tax year, 6 April 2014 to 5 April 2015 as per the rules for self-employed sponsors who trade as a sole trader (but not for the company owner, where the calculation would have been very different). We used a latest tax return (amongst many other documents) and a HMRC Tax Calculation which showed income from self-employment being minimum £18,600. The next step will be to renew a visa after 2.5 years and th...
