New Testimonial on a Tier 2 General visa

"Thank you 1st 4Immigration, not only for your prompt, knowledgable and professional service but also for the fact that you view your clients as people rather than numbers. You deal with each visa case individually, on a warm and personal basis". Clarissa, Malaysian national. Clarissa had a Tier 4 Student visa and completed a Master's degree in London. She had her employer sponsoring her for a Tier 2 visa. She could apply under Tier 2 as soon as she has completed her course (but not before). Her employer was prepared to provide a COS, though they had to start from the beginning, ie from obtaining a Sponsor Licence. Once licence has been granted, Clarissa's employer had to request allocation of extra certificates, so they requested one for Clarissa (we advised they could have done it at the same time as licence, to save time). It was  an unrestricted COS because Clarissa was eligible to switch to Tier 2 inside the UK. For an advice or to make your application

New Tier 2 General rules from 6 April 2013 - should we be worried?

"Not again!", is it what's going through your mind? Perhaps one day we'll run a story: "Breaking news - the UKBA doesn't change a thing!" For now, here is a basic summary of the proposed changes: - start from the good news: if you have a COS assigned to you by 5 April 2013 then you can apply for a visa with that COS even after 5 April. In this case you'll be applying like Tier 2 rules haven't changed, ie the same codes as now, same salary as before 6 April etc. So, there is no need to rush and submit visa application now, you can do it after 6 April as long as your COS has been assigned to you no later than 5 April. And now changes for those with a COS assigned from 6 April: - minimum salary goes up from £20,000 to £20,300, in line with inflation. - New occupation codes, changed from SOC 2000 codes to SOC 2010. If it does not mean anything to you then it's basically different code numbers for many occupations and some occupations

New testimonial on British Citizenship application from a Romanian national

"Thanks so much for all your efforts and excellent service. This had all been incredibly pain free and easy and your professionalism and attention to detail much appreciated. I will recommend you to everyone and I know who needs these services (have already done so)".   Ms V, Romanian national. In this case our client spent more than 6 years in the UK while exercising European treaty rights as a self-employed Romanian national. We advised that Ms V did not have to apply for permanent residency (a lengthy application which requires to submit original passport) but could apply straight for British Citizenship, which does not require sending original passport and in this case was approved within just 3 weeks.   To make your application as successful please contact info@1st4immigration.com or visit www.1st4immigration.com

New testimonial on SET M application for an ILR as a Spouse of UK citizen, based on a Spouse visa issued before 9 July 2012 (and falling under the transitional arrangements, ie processed under the 'old Rules')

"Thanks very much for your help with this visa application (SET M application for an ILR). I must say that Adam, Tom and Neil were very helpful and is a credit to your company". Mark, a British national who made a SET(M) application for his Thai wife and a step-daughter. Mark is our regular client as we arranged several Schengen visas for his wife and step-daughter. It was now time for them to apply for an ILR. We processed this application 'under the old Rules', even though it was in February 2013. It was possible because the applicants had Spouse and Dependant visas issued before 9 July 2012, for 2 years, and could use the transitional arrangements. In other words, such application was processed like the old rule were still in place. As soon as an ILR has been done on same-day service in Croydon, we processed another French Schengen visas securing Schengen visas valid for more than 1 year. To make your application as successful, using same-day or

Same-day Premium service for UK visas - the benefits

It is useful if you need to travel abroad and cannot be without your passport. But the main benefit in our opinion is, although more expensive, it allows the applicant to know result right on the day, including if there are any problems, rather than waiting for 3-4 months postal service and then possibly being told there is a problem or even that application has been refused. We at 1st 4Immigration are authorised by The UK Border Agency to submit clients' visa applications using this service in Croydon, south London. The slots (appointments) we use are separate from the ones offerred to the general public, our cases are submitted to a separate Team who deals with cases from representatives. We can submit the following visa applications every week but need to give the Home Office details of an individual client in advance. Same-day service is available for applications: - Indefinite Leave to Remain for those holding Tier 1 General, Tier 2 General, Work Permit, Spouse/P
