A new 5 star Google review about our French Schengen visa services

"I was in a huge panic because I could only get a visa appointment the day before I was supposed to be flying to Geneva. As a South African living in the UK this can often be stressful and expensive. I found Multi Travel Visas and got attended to immediately. They were able to offer me an appointment for the very next day as they have a special relationship with the consulate (even after I tried other services who couldn't do this). Sebastian took my call, reassured me and was always available via email or phone supporting me through the entire application process. He told me what I needed to submit and completed a lot of the admin and forms which made things much easier. I managed to get a five year multiple entry visa from France, due to the suggested additional documents and motivational letter from Multi Travel Visas. I am exceptionally happy with the professionalism, efficiency and short turnaround time. I would highly recommend them!" Kalliste applied for the Fren

Business plan writing service for a Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) visa - from a firm of experienced Immigration Entrepreneurs!

A  Business plan is a compulsory requirement for initial Entrepreneur visa applications.   Over the past several years we’ve been dealing with the Entrepreneur visa applications for our clients. As a part of each application, we have to read client’s business plan, ask to make changes and generally, to include the information relevant to the Entrepreneur visa rules as well as based on the questions a client may be asked at an interview (from our experience of clients’ visa interviews). Our experience allowed us to develop an approach to creating the business plans from a Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa point of view. Instead of using standard templates, we focus on what the visa officers want to see, i.e. on what a migrant will be required to do while holding this visa: investment of £50,000 or £200,000 and what your client is going to spend it on. For example, paying yourself a salary is not counted, yet it is very common for clients to do this.    Another example will be including a plan

Indefinite Leave to Remain, the term ‘Settlement’ and 2 confusing meanings of it.

There are 2 meanings of a term ‘Settlement’ when it comes to the UK visas. This is why it can be confusing to understand the Immigration Rules. Meaning #1: Permanent Residency in the UK, known as Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR). The Rules, the visa officers and therefore immigration lawyers often say “Apply for Settlement “ or “Apply to settle in the UK”, you can see here on UKVI website: https://www.gov.uk/settle-in-the-uk Even ILR application forms have names like SET(M) or SET(O). Meaning #2: when spouses, partners and fiancées are applying from outside the UK, such applications are also called ‘Settlement’. It does not mean these are applications for Permanent Residency but means that the applicant (a foreign partner) is planning to come to the UK with the view of settling here, ie ‘for settlement’.  There is no such term when switching from a Spouse/Partner visa inside the UK, for example, from a Tier 4 to a Spouse visa. Yes, this 2nd meaning of a ‘Settlement’ term is used

New five-star Google review about our Schengen visa services as a continuation of the previous post

Great experien ce, really quick when necessary, worth every penny. This came from Sergey who applied for Schengen visa through the French Consulate. It is possible to obtain a French Schengen visa within 3-4 working days from the date of appointment for most nationals, such as South African, Thai, Filipino, Russian, Indian, Chinese and most others. We can also assist with the German and Portuguese Schengen visas. The good thing about applying through French Embassy is that they tend to issuer longer, multiple-entry, visas. Although you have to go through a very stringent process of application, you may have a visa lasting for several years. "Using this service was a great experience. Sebastian was very helpful along the way and gave me very clear instructions as to what documents were required and what format they needed to be in. My Schengen visa was processed in 4 business days by the French embassy, and I was really pleased to have received a 2yr multiple entry Schengen Visa (on previous attempts I only ever got 3 month or 6 month Schengen visas). Great service, would definitely recommend."   This came from Ardeshir who applied for Schengen visa through the French Consulate. How long can a visitor stay in the UK? 6 months... but how is it calculated? 6 months in a year or from each entry?

This has been one of the most commonly asked question during our 10 years of practice, so this is an updated post. If you saw our old post from 2013, saying “6 months in each year” rule, it is now out of date and the current guidance is very different. So, the updated rule on the date of this post (February 2018) is that 6 months stay starts from the date of each entry in the UK, ie from the airport stamp. You can come and go, and every time you come back “your” 6 months start again. If you aren’t required to have a visa stamp before travelling, you would get a stamp on arrival at the airport. If you are a visa national (ie need to have a visa stamp before coming to the UK), your visitor visa has to be long enough, such as for 2, 5 or even 10 years. If your visa stamp is only for 6 months and you entered, say, 1 month after it was issued, you’d have only 5 months left to stay in the UK and you can actually extend your visa to give you that extra 1 month (will be expensive bu
