Darren Seiver, applied from Australia for a Spouse Entry Clearance : Excellent service of the highest quality, professionalism, attention to detail and responsiveness. I initially contacted 1st 4Immigration to assist me with a UK Spouse VISA from Australia. Attempting to make sense of the Visa process was a daunting task and after an initial advice session my case was taken on board by Jules. I can't speak highly enough of Jules. Jules made a complicated process straight forward and after many questions and expert guidance throughout the process I achieved a successful outcome in the promised timeframe. Jules crafted an application that was complete in detail and which provided for the best chance of success. I highly recommend 1st 4Immigrations services and in particular their staff (Jules) who go the extra mile to achieve a successful outcome and I'm confident their services are well worth the investment in what can be a very stressful and confusing time. We have decided to sum up the Government Brexit visa proposals, that is what they disclosed so far.   We were prompted to make this table by a recent Daily Mail article    EU citizens until 31.12.2020 (based on Government publication here) Non-EU citizens now (based on current Immigration Rules under Points-Based System) EU and non-EU citizens after 31.12.2018 (based on the proposals so far) Who can come and work in the UK? When to apply for British Citizenship?

Image
It’s the ultimate goal for any foreign citizen coming to the UK – the British passport! The journey may take time and money but it is well worth it! You may be just at the beginning of your ‘journey’, such as having your 1 st  UK visa, or you may be already on the way to Indefinite Leave. It is never too early to find out your rights and make a plan for the future. Here is our short 5-point summary to get you started. #1 Spouses of British citizens: The process is initial Spouse visa (30 or 33 months), then extension for further 30 months, then permanent residency after 5 years. You can apply for British Citizenship straight after that. Most common mistake: applying after 3 years of residency in the UK. #2 European citizens and family members: Firstly, you need to acquire a permanent residency status, usually after 5 years in the UK. Then you can apply for Citizenship 1 year after you have qualified for the PR. Even if your PR document was issued
