Business plan writing service for a Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) visa - from a firm of experienced Immigration Entrepreneurs!

A  Business plan is a compulsory requirement for initial Entrepreneur visa applications.   Over the past several years we’ve been dealing with the Entrepreneur visa applications for our clients. As a part of each application, we have to read client’s business plan, ask to make changes and generally, to include the information relevant to the Entrepreneur visa rules as well as based on the questions a client may be asked at an interview (from our experience of clients’ visa interviews). Our experience allowed us to develop an approach to creating the business plans from a Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa point of view. Instead of using standard templates, we focus on what the visa officers want to see, i.e. on what a migrant will be required to do while holding this visa: investment of £50,000 or £200,000 and what your client is going to spend it on. For example, paying yourself a salary is not counted, yet it is very common for clients to do this.    Another example will be including a plan o

News roundup December 2017. Merry Christmas and Happy New 2018 Year!

We start our festive news roundup from the serious news and Brexit. The latest statement was released earlier in December 2017 from Prime Minister, Theresa May, reassuring the European citizens on their rights after Brexit. Not just immigration rights but also healthcare, pension etc. The Daily Mail published an open letter in their article ‘Dear EU citizens, I want you to STAY’ (quite rightly, we add): http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5168239/Theresa-tells-EU-nationals-want-stay.html An official statement is here   https://www.gov.uk/guidance/status-of-eu-nationals-in-the-uk-what-you-need-to-know Next is a feel-good story about a British passport going “back to blue” after 2019. Or, as BBC put it. 'Iconic' blue British passport to return after Brexit: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-42443253 Looks like we will be saying goodbye to the current burgundy UK passports, although we quite like the colour!     Technology news: UK Visas and Immigration, at least t

UK Visas and Immigration plans to go paperless in 2018. If it works, family visas – for spouses, partners, children etc – will be submitted online instead of the current paper forms and supporting documents.

How do we know? We, 1 st 4Immigration Ltd,   were chosen by the UKVI to take part in a survey to provide a feedback on the upcoming system. We are very honoured! As can be seen on the Home Office letter (pictured), we were selected as one of only approximately 50 firms in the whole country, following the request of the Home Office to the OISC. We had a visit from 2 Home Office officials in November 2017. What a great day and what a productive visit! The officials informed us they had been trying hard to promote the online application process for in-country applications, such as FLR(M) for spouses and partners of UK citizens. The online applications have existed for entry clearance (when applying outside the UK) for many years now. Yet the in-country online application process has so far been relatively unknown and unused. It can be found here: https://visas-immigration.service.gov.uk/product/family-routes At the moment most FLR(M) and FLR(FP) applications are po

Return of the Great British (blue) passport!

As Express put it here: https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/786788/brexit-passport-design-uk-dark-blue-home-office-project-eu-article-50   It is a great British festive story, although the colour is the only thing that is changing. For us, the migrants, the important thing is that so far the Rules for British Citizenship remain the same and if they are set to change – we will follow and adapt. We at 1 st 4Immigration come across the old UK passports now and then, most commonly when dealing with UKM applications. That’s to register a foreign citizen as British if they were born before 1983 to a British mother. We receive those old blue passports from all over the world (to be used as a part of the application to the Home Office). Whichever colour it is, it is a Great British document to have! Royal engagement: Meghan Markle faces trip abroad to apply for visa - according to The Times. We say “No, she doesn’t!”, she can switch to a Spouse visa while in the UK.

Another unqualified immigration advice from the press, this time from The Times:  https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/royal-engagement-meghan-markle-faces-trip-abroad-to-apply-for-visa-052bplp8x On this blog we have been “advising” Meghan and Harry on the UK visa rules, so we couldn’t miss this article and let Meghan make an unnecessary trip abroad (with all that airport hassle during the spring bank holidays!) Meghan CAN switch to a Spouse visa inside the UK after marrying her prince (literally). She can simply apply for a Fiancée visa now from the US or Canada, which allows switching to the Spouse status inside the UK. Can even be on same-day service like the one we use for our clients in Croydon. If Meghan doesn’t take this advice and remains in the UK as a visitor, then yes, she would have to make a trip abroad to secure her Spouse visa, and we don’t envy her buying those expensive flight tickets during the World Cup! We guess Meghan may already have a Fiancée visa, but jus

10 weeks of Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa tips – Week 10 – Frequently Asked Questions and Compliance.

This is the last post in these popular series, and we will be also posting a summary of all posts later.     FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: How much money do I need, GBP 200 000 or 50 000? The main amount is 200 000 British Pounds. The 50 000 applications are only allowed if you have funds from specified sources. For example, from a UK Government department or UK-regulated venture capital fund. There are strict rules on this. We will be able to advise you in your individual case during advice session. Can I apply in the UK or do I have to apply in my country? You can only apply in the UK if you currently have a UK visa that allows to change your status while on the UK. If you don't, you have to apply from your country. Having said that , we can prepare your application In advance, so you would only need to leave the UK to submit your paperwork abroad and to wait for a decision, thus reducing your time abroad to the minimum possible.  What is meant by "my
