New successful case and testimonial on application for Indefinite Leave (ILR) for a spouse of a UK citizen (SET M application under the Old Rules).

"Dear Lucy, I am so ecstatic that I received my indefinite leave to remain today and that everything went so smoothly! I remain forever grateful for the invaluable, courteous and professional service/assistance I received from you and all your colleagues and would definitely recommend your company to anyone without hesitation. Thanks so much to you all!"

This came from Shyrna, a national of St Kitts and Nevis, who with our help made a SET(M) application on the basis of her marriage to a British citizen. Shyrna had a Spouse visa for 2 years (and 3 months as it was issued outside the UK) and has completed her 2 years probationary period in the UK. Since her Spouse visa was issued before 9 July 2012 this application was made under the ‘Old Rules’. In fact, applications for an ILR for spouses of UK citizens won’t be happening until July 2017, ie 5 years since the Rules changed, thus requiring spouse and partners to spend 5 years in the UK instead of 2 years.
