🇬🇧 Immigration work continues, visas are issued!

Immigration work continues during the lockdown, UK visas are issued and visa centres remain open.

Visa application centres inside the UK are classified as essential services, so you can still enrol biometrics (fingerprints) as part of your application for a UK visa, settlement or British Citizenship. The casework (considering your documents) continues by the UK Government remotely, with online submission of documents - a process that has been in place for 2 years now (since before Covid).

We at 1st 4Immigration work as normal. We conduct online consultations via Zoom, WhatsApp and email for our customers worldwide, as we have been already doing during the past 12 years. We work on your cases as usual, you can provide us with your documents online via Dropbox or email, so we make the most of the modern technology in the ’new normal’. We are here to help if you are coming to the UK to work or to join your family, extending your stay or need to apply for Citizenship.

Not forgetting Brexit! We have an exciting new Points-Based Immigration System for work visas that welcomes a wide range of skilled workers from all over the world (not just Europe). It starts on 1 December 2020, a whole month before the official Brexit! The new rules are more flexible, the new system is ‘easier' and the process is faster. The migrant workers still need a job offer from a UK company but there's a higher pool of the acceptable jobs, with more flexible salary thresholds. No more Resident Labour Test, no annual limit and even easier rules fo switching inside the UK. And that's before we even mention the return of Post-Study Work visas in 2021! Oh, and also visas for Hong Kong BNOs beginning in early 2021. So much positive is going on in the UK immigration!

We are updating our website with the above changes and adding posts on our Blog and Facebook pages for a technical analysis of the upcoming rules. To book an online consultation one-to-one with an Immigration Lawyer:  https://www.1st4immigration.com/book-a-consultation/
As usual, a consultation fee counts towards our representation fee.
