New successful case and testimonial on a same-day Spouse visa, switching from a Tier 4 Student visa.

“The help and assistance that has been offered by Lucy from the start of correspondence, combined with the excellent support and representation during our same-day-service application by Christina, helped to ease our troubled minds and ensure the outcome we desired. Absolutely great service by all and would highly recommend using them (1st 4Immigration).”

This came from Samantha, American national married to a British national. Samantha was in the UK on a Tier 4 Student visa. Once the couple married, they wanted to secure a Spouse visa. In this case the main challenge was the Financial Requirement. Both spouses worked but not in the same job in the last 6 months, so we had to use a Category B, which was based on the last 12 months.

We had to wait for approximately 4 – 5 months for the couple to reach the requirement of ‘total earnings in the last 12 months being minimum £18,600’.  Plus we had to calculate the earnings based on the average in the last 6 months for the ‘current salary’ component of Category B. Finally, with all payslips in order, from approx 4 different jobs, and the earnings totaling the required amount, we were able to submit the case on the same-day service in Croydon and it went very smoothly.

Since Samantha’s student visa allowed to work, she continued working part-time in order for the couple to combine their earrings to meet the Financial Requirement.
